CRD (Chronic respiratory disease) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum is huge problem in curent poultry farming.

Indications:
Biotyl-P is indicated for the treatment of respiratory disease associated with mycoplasma.
It is also indicated for treatment of disease associated with Clostridium perfringens (Necrotic entritis) and Ornithobacterium rhinotracheale (ORT).
Dosage:
Chickens:
For treatment: 25 mg tylvalosin per kg body weight per day in drinking water for 3 consecutive days.
For prevention: 25 mg tylvalosin per kg body weight per day in drinking water for 3 consecutive days to day old chicks; This is followed by a second treatment with 25 mg tylvalosin per kg body weight per day in drinking water for 3 consecutive days at the period of risk, i.e. during management stress such as administration of vaccines (typically when birds are 2 to 3 weeks old) or as directed by veterinarian / poultry consultant.
Withdrawal Periods:
Meat:- 2 days
Egg:- 21 days before start of laying period.
Not to be administered to birds laying eggs for human consumption.
